HubSpot vs Salesforce pricing in 2026

HubSpot and Salesforce price different products and seat types. The table records US-dollar references checked October 6, 2026. It does not equate their entitlements. Count the paid seats each workflow needs, not everyone with access to the CRM.

HubSpot displayed a $7 Starter promotion beside $20 on its sales page. Its catalog lists Starter from $20 per seat/month. ForceFolks uses the standard $20 reference for this model. We do not assume the temporary display applies to every buyer or renewal.

HubSpot displays Professional at $90 with annual payment and $100 with monthly payment. Monthly payment still carries an annual commitment. Its catalog starts Professional at $100 and Enterprise at $150. The model records these different bases instead of treating them as conflicting measurements.

Compare your quotes with the ForceFolks CRM Cost Calculator

Start with the published example, then enter your actual seat counts and quotes. Open each vendor’s assumptions to change rates, discounts, growth and delivery costs. Changing a plan or billing option restores its reference prices and onboarding. Other entered costs stay in place.

First-year and base renewal rates are separate. If a quote already includes a discount, leave the extra discount at 0%. A year-one discount is not repeated unless you select all years. The tool uses whole years. For a shorter promotion, enter an average first-year monthly rate. Future price increases are assumptions, not vendor forecasts. Inputs stay in this page and are not sent with the enquiry form.

Is HubSpot cheaper than Salesforce?

HubSpot is lower in the three displayed examples, but this is not a universal pricing rule. Seat counts, billing choices, onboarding and discounts can reverse a comparison. Required add-ons and delivery work also differ. Use the ForceFolks model to compare the complete quoted scope, not a generic tier label.

For example, a Salesforce discount can outweigh the default Professional/Pro gap. The calculator reports the difference in either direction without declaring a universal winner.

When is Salesforce the better choice?

Salesforce can fit when your required workflows depend on its data model, permissions, applications or existing integrations. Test those requirements in the proposed edition. Include the people who will administer the system after launch. Avoid buying a larger bundle only because the model displays more included products.

When is HubSpot the better choice?

HubSpot can fit when the proposed Sales Hub edition supports the sales process and connects with the tools your teams already use. Test the required data, permissions and reporting. Review which users need paid Sales seats. Do not assume either platform needs no administration, integration work or training.

For feature selection, use the separate Salesforce and HubSpot workflow comparison. This page focuses on cost assumptions, not a full capability ranking.

Hidden costs in a HubSpot vs Salesforce comparison

List the costs that the subscription comparison does not settle. Enter your own one-time and recurring estimates in the tool. A default of $0 means the item is not modeled, not that the work is free.

  • Required onboarding is not a complete implementation or migration estimate.
  • Budget data cleanup, migration rehearsals and validation.
  • Separate integration-platform charges from connection delivery work.
  • Check AI usage, storage, calling, support and other add-ons against included entitlements.
  • Include internal administration and training in recurring costs if needed.
  • Review taxes, currencies, contract minimums and renewal terms outside this model.

Use the implementation-cost guide and hourly-rate evidence to scope delivery. The administrator salary guide concerns employee pay, not vendor consulting fees.

How ForceFolks builds the CRM Cost Model

ForceFolks records official vendor prices and their billing bases. These source observations are not market medians or independent price benchmarks. This model uses selected products, not every CRM edition. We checked the sources on October 6, 2026. Recheck them before committing to a purchase.

For each year, the tool rounds growing seat counts up to whole seats. Subscription cost equals seats multiplied by the effective monthly rate and 12. It adds onboarding, implementation and migration only in year 1. Entered recurring costs repeat each year without automatic inflation.

From year 2, the base renewal rate compounds by the entered annual price increase. Year 2 applies one increase, and year 3 applies two. The effective per-seat-month result divides total spending by all modeled seat-months. It is a budgeting allocation, not the vendor’s seat price.

Legacy Salesforce options require first-year and renewal contract prices. No historical $175 or $350 value is silently extended into future years. The model does not forecast renewals, payment timing, financing or tax. Confirm contract minimums and fee changes directly with the vendor.

The JSON model records price bases, sources, exclusions and formulas. Scenario totals, tables, CSV and chart values use the same inputs. No vendor promotion is assumed to remain available throughout the model.

HubSpot vs Salesforce FAQ

Is HubSpot cheaper than Salesforce?

Not in every scenario. The ForceFolks CRM Cost Model puts 10 paid seats over 3 years at $33,900 for HubSpot Professional and $36,000 for Salesforce Pro. That comparison includes listed HubSpot onboarding, but excludes delivery and usage extras. Different seats, discounts, contract terms or required products can change the result.

How much does Salesforce cost per user in 2026?

The checked Sales list prices are $25 for Starter, $100 for Pro, $195 for Core, $395 for Advanced and $550 for Max. These are USD per user/month. Pro and higher plans shown require annual billing. Confirm the selected product, contract and entitlements before adding implementation or additional usage to a budget.

What are Salesforce Core, Advanced and Max editions?

They are new Salesforce bundles announced on September 3, 2026, not equivalent renames of every legacy package. Their included products and allowances differ. Existing legacy pricing was unchanged in that announcement, but future renewals are not guaranteed. Use a current contract quote for legacy Enterprise or Unlimited in this calculator.

Does HubSpot charge an onboarding fee?

HubSpot lists required, one-time Sales Hub onboarding of $1,500 for Professional and $3,500 for Enterprise. The model adds that fee only in year 1. Onboarding does not automatically cover your complete migration, integration or training scope. Change the fee only when a written proposal provides a different applicable amount.

Which CRM fits a 10-person sales team?

Team size alone does not identify the right CRM or the number of paid seats required. Test your sales process, permissions, reporting and integrations in the proposed editions. Then compare quotes in the ForceFolks calculator. Its examples compare spending assumptions, not equal features, deployment effort or business value.

When should a company move from HubSpot to Salesforce?

Consider a move when tested requirements justify Salesforce and the migration cost is acceptable. Do not assume that HubSpot cannot support custom data or complex workflows. ForceFolks can assess the Salesforce delivery scope. Map records, activity history, integrations and access before estimating the move, and keep a rollback plan.

Does the calculator carry a Starter promotion into later years?

No promotional Starter rate is used by default. The model uses HubSpot’s $20 standard catalog reference. First-year and base renewal rates are separate, and extra discounts default to year 1. For a shorter offer, enter an average first-year monthly rate. Flat future rates are assumptions, not guarantees.
